Memorial Hall Library Bookplate

In 1947 students in grades 9 to 12 of the Andover Public Schools were eligible to submit a design for the Memorial Hall Library Bookplate. Each design had to be drawn on white paper using pen and india ink.

The winner was Polly Black. (She won $10.00.) Honorable mention went to Ruth Ann Chadwick and Joan Lord. (6/23/47)

Amy Trow Garden Bookplate

The die for the Amy Trow Garden Bookplate was designed by Priscilla Page using funds from the Amy Trow Fund. The bookplate was used in gardening books. As of 1964, the die was kept in the libary safe.
