The Crystal Ballroom, now office space, is on Haverhill Street, east of Shawsheen Square, the intersection of Routes 133 and 28. It was build by Billy Wood when Frye Village became Shawsheen Village (1916-1921). The Crystal Ballroom operated in the winter as a place to dance. The Balmoral Spa, on the corner of North Main and Balmoral Streets, was the place to dance in the summer (outdoors).
