On April 17, 1986, Gene Donan was paralyzed as a nail from a stud gun in the Barbershop in Shawsheen Square.  Mr.  Donan was getting hair cut, when a nail from a stud gun was shot through the wall and into Mr. Donan.
On April 17, 1986, Gene Durand was paralyzed when a nail from a stud gun hit him in the neck as he was getting a haircut in the barbershop in Shawsheen Square.  The nail was accidentally shot through the wall by a worker in a business next door.


In April of 1988 there was a 15 million dollar settlement for the accident.
