Ivan Smith

On August 22, 2000 Thirteen year old Ivan Smith died accidentally at Salisbury Beach when a hole collapsed in on him. Ivan's father was the Andover Town Accountant at that time.

Stud Gun - Gene Durand

On April 17, 1986, Gene Donan was paralyzed as a nail from a stud gun in the Barbershop in Shawsheen Square. Mr. Donan was getting hair cut, when a nail from a stud gun was shot through the wall and into Mr. Donan.

In April of 1988 there was a 15 million dollar settlement for the accident.

Brenda Cox - Mount Lafayette

Brenda Cox, an Andover resident, died from exposure on Mount Lafayette, as she and her husband tried to decend the 52600 foot mountain without proper equipment.
