Butler Bank, founded in 1901 by General Gardner Pearson (1882 - 1953), bought the 1/2 acre piece of property at 16 Main Street, Andover in March of 2006.  The space had been occupied by Friendly's Restaurant from June 1, 1965 until December 24. The property was sold to Butler Bank for $1.45 million.

*2 Andover musicians, bassist Mike Nuzzolo and drummer Greg Rickenbacker joined with Terence "Tito" Heally from Wilmington to form the band One Step Away. They were about 14 years old.  
  
Friendly's was torn down on September 6, 2006.  Construction for Butler Bank began in October, 2006.  This, Butler Bank's fourth branch, opened on May 24, 2007. CPA John J. Drago and  Doherty Law Offices were tenants of the bank at the opening. Boston King Cafe opened in the Butler Bank building on April 26, 2008. 
 
  
On April 17, 2010, People’s United Bank, acquired Butler Bank after it was closed by the Massachusetts Division of Banks on April 16.
 
  
In 2012 People's United acquired Danversbank and Riverbank and consolidated all bank locations at 16 North Main Street.

The band was then composed of Mike Nuzzolo, Adam Carrington, and Ben Trudeau from Andover, Wilmington, and Beverly.Their album ''For the Broken'' was played on 100 radio stations.
