Lynn Loscutoff (1934-2018) was a world renowned artist who lived in Andover. She had studio in Gloucester for many years and shared her painting techniques in the books A Traveler’s Guide to Painting with Watercolor and A Painter’s Guide to Painting With Oil [1] During her career she traveled extensively and painted across the world, serving as a representative of the arts from Boston. These travels included cultural exchange trips to Israel, China, and Japan, where she served as a goodwill ambassador and her paintings were given as gifts to host governors and dignitaries.[2]. Lynn also served as the Executive Director of Boston's prestigious Copley Society in Boston.[3].
Lynn was the wife of Jim Loscutoff, a star forward of the Celtics in the 1960s. In 2014, she authored the book Loscy & Me: The Artist and the Boston Celtics Legend, Jim Loscutoff, a memoir about their relationship and careers.
