Andover celebrated its 350th birthday with a parade on Sunday, September 15, 1996. It consisted of 43 floats, 21 bands, a history lesson (a reenactment of the 1692 witch hunt) and more than 3,000 participants. The parade route commenced at Phillips Academy and ended at Shawsheen Square.
