The quilt was made for the 350th anniversary of the town in 1996. It hangs in Memorial Hall Library. The design represents "The Hill, The Mill, and The Till". The Hill is represented by the Memorial Bell Tower of Phillips Academy, the Mills are a symbol of the textile mills of the 17th and 18th century, and the Till symbolizes the farmland of the town. The quilt was presented to the town at the Anniversary Banquet in May, 1996.
