In 2007, the Andover Surgery Center began extensive renovations in order to increase the building's size and enhance the experience for patients. In an article about the renovations that appeared in the ''Andover Townsman'', Executive Director Nancy Aucoin explained that the recovery area was expanded in particular and that nearly 3,000 square feet were added to the entire facility. The center also has two fully equipped operating rooms and a procedure room that is meant for situations that do not call for anesthesia.
