Creative Living, located at 368 South Main Street, was founded in 1986 by Rosalie Ruggiero and Dr. Larry Larson to enhance the lives of developmentally disabled individuals. They obtained non-profit 501(c)(3) status in March 1987. A farmhouse and land were purchased in 1988. They support individuals with devopmental disabilities and their families, and, more recently, those within the autism spectrum.
