[1] In 1944, Pike moved to 5 Porter Road in Shawsheen Village and incorporated as a nonprofit educational institution. In 1963, it moved to its current site, 35 acres of land on Sunset Rock Road.[2]

Pike is an independent day school for grades Pre-K through 9 and enrolls students from over 40 communities of the Greater Merrimack Valley. Pike is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of New England and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, the Council for Religion in Independent Schools, the Elementary School Heads Association, the Educational Records Bureau, the Secondary School Admission Test Board, and AISNE Diversity Services.[3]
