Andover resident Debbie Hagan wrote Against the Tide a history of the Massachusetts School of Law, a law school designed for the working class. 1990 the Massachusetts Board of Regents of Higher Education authorized the MSL to award the Juris Doctor degree. However, it is not accredited by the American Bar Association.
