[3] In January of 1979, the congregation was granted a construction permit for a new property on Hagget's Pond Road in Andover. In November 1979, the congregation's Torah was hand carried by relay runners to a new house of worship in Andover. [4] The new temple opened Friday November 22, 1979 and was formally dedicated on May 16, 1990.
