Founded in 1986, CGMI bought and sold several dot-com companies including AltaVista, Engage, Equilibrium and uBid. In the post dot.com world after 2000, CGMI continued to buy and sell Internet companies. CGMI provides a network of companies to create an "infrastructure" of shared technologies and content.
