MHL Conversational English Group

Memorial Hall Library's Conversational English Group ran for 24 years before it was disbanded during the Covid 19 pandemic. The classes were designed for individuals who had previously studied formal English and would like to practice their speaking and listening skills. The classes met once per week and were offered in a morning and afternoon session. Carolyn Fantini led the group assisted by Jeanne Pakowski, Hellen Sellers, Sally Littlefield, Eileen Shannon, Caryn Sloan, Marilyn Santagati, Carol O'Handley, Judy Wright, Alana McKee, Louise Tomlineson and Peggy Coleman.

In 2022, Memorial Hall Library began a partnership with an outside organization to offer an English at Large Conversation Group.
