Brickstone Properties on Haverhill Street provided the largest Christmas tree in the United States along with a Santa's Village. The lighting usually took place the Sunday night after Thanksgiving. In 1997, the tree was a 100 ft. spruce decked with 30,000 lights, 750 balls and a 3 ft. snowflake on top. In 2004 Brickstone no longer hosted the giant tree because of changes in ownership. Brickstone planted a smaller tree which they light while Minuteman Park off River Road took over the lighting of a giant tree visible from Rt. 93.
