Essex Turnpike

In the early 1800's a stagecoach ran through Andover on the Essex Turnpike, popularly known as the Andover Turnpike. It began at the New Hampshire boarder and proceeded through Haverhill, Andover, and Danvers. The end of the line was Salem, the county seat.
