The Andover Advertiser was the newspaper of Andover from February 19, 1853 to February 10, 1866. It was continued by the Lawrence American. Founded in 1853 by publisher John D. Flagg, The Andover Advertiser masthead featured the slogan, " The life of agriculture trade and commerce is a good advertising medium." Andover publisher and printer https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Fales_Draper_(publisher) became publisher of the Andover Advertiser in May 1855 and remained in that role until the newspaper dissolved in 1866.
