Andover Biography - Benjamin T. Farnum

Benjamin T. Farnum was on of three men (along with Benjamin Ames and Charles Furbush) from Andover who lead the fight at the Battle of Bunker Hill. He was commissioned in the Continental army as commander of the 11th Massachusetts Regiment which served with Washington at Valley Forge. He resigned his commission in 1779.
born on December 27, 1746 and died 1833 at the age of 87. He married his second cousin Dolly Holt on November 26, 1767
