  • Mary Ellen Driscoll released an album of spiritual songs For Your Glory in 2000. Half the songs were written by her, things that she wanted to say about her own faith journey. She hoped "God will get some glory from what I've done, it's not about me."
  • The album came out of years of playing spiritual music. She started by playing guitar in church while in fifth grade. One of her teacher's at St. Augustine's School said, "Singing is praying twice." In 2000 she was a cantor at St. Augustine Church and often played at the youth-oriented Sunday Mass.
