Sheila J. Sprinsky was found murdered in her home at 4 Aspen Circle on November 5, 1976 by her husband when he returned home. She had been sitting in a chair painting a ceramic lamp. Her husband reported some jewelry missing. It was determined that she was shot with a revolver. Police questioned neighbors and searched the grounds. No one heard saw or heard anything unusual.
