Physical Sciences Inc. is a research and development firm that is located at 20 New England Business Center in Andover. The company has taken on many projects over the years, including the development of a methane detector and creating a longer-running battery for electric cars. In 2005, the company received a grant for $225,000 to develop a monitor that can measure airborne metals in power plants.
