The ivy that covers the Memorial  Hall Library is Parthenocissus tricuspidata also known as Japanese Creeper or Boston Ivy.
Parthenocissus tricuspidata (Boston Ivy) had covered Memorial Hall Library.  It was removed with the addition/rennovation in 1987, because it had been determined that the ivy destroyed the brick facade.
