Elinor Abbot is the author of the dissertationTransformations: The Reconstruction of Social Hierarchy in Early Colonial Andover Massachusetts. Two copies of the dissertation are held at the Andover Historical Society. The dissertation is also on file at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor in 1989.
