Don Robb (1937-2019) was an author who lived in Andover from 1975 until his passing in 2019. After graduating from Ohio University, he became a high school teacher before moving on to pursue a career in educational publishing. He worked for Holt Rhinehart and Winston, Houghton Mifflin and Charlesbridge Publishing.[1] He then went on to author several educational children’s books related to history and language.

Robb was very involved in the Andover community and served on several committees in town. As Chairman of Elder Services Task Force, Robb advocated for senior citizens in the community who assisted in securing funds for improvements to the town’s senior center before his passing.[2] When the newly renovated senior center opened in 2021, it was named the Robb Center after Don Robb and his wife Vicki to honor their years of service to the town.[3]
