After the Butler's Pantry, 7 Barnard Street was destroyed by fire in April 1999, its owner Brian Arsnow decided to change the business into a gourmet cafe and food store.
Brian had purchase the Butler's Pantry from Jonathan and Toni Weber in June 1998. The Weber's had owned it for 25 years.
