In the fall of 2020, the Andover School Committee voted to name the field behind Doherty Middle School after longtime Andover residents, Sue and Michael Tucker. Sue Tucker served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1982 to 1992 and in the Massachusetts Senate from 1999 to 2011. Michael Tucker served in the United States Army in Counterintelligence and also was Executive Director of Andover's Ironstone Farm where he launched an equine therapeutic program for veterans with PTSD.
