In 1956 the Universalist Society of Lawrence and the Parish of the First Unitarian Society in Lawrence merged to form the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Andover. Rev, M. Lara Hoke was the minister from 2009-2018, and the current consulting minister is Kali Fyre. The church will be closing on or before June 2024, and the historic building, previously known as the November Club, at 6 Locke Street is currently for sale. A portrait of the November Club in 1891 is on the 2nd floor of Memorial Hall Library as part of the Original Art collection.
