Located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Wildwood and Holt roads. The Holt family built the first house in 1705. The Inn, owned by the Spaulding family, operated as a business from 1933 to 1947. Admiral Richard E. Byrd, the famous polar explorer and aviator, stayed at the Inn with his family for a month during at least two summers. In June 1971, a local developer was converting the mansion into apartments when it burned down.
