Corey Tevan, a Portland, Maine native is a local artist who lived in Andover for many years. Tevan graduated from Andover High School and his art teacher was the Francis Dalton.  He later attended the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.   For several years, he worked at Memorial Hall Library as an Interlibrary Loan assistant. [1] Corey Tevan created the acrylic painting that hangs in the MHL Activity room, Lion Light. Tevan exhibited his work in the Andover Gallery, Art in the Park on the Boston Common, The Addison Gallery and in his gallery in Rockport, Massachusetts among other places.
